My neighbor Jerry asked me, Saturday afternoon, that he would like to take me to Red Lobster for lunch for Father's Day. What a cool invite, and gift for Father's Day. Jerry, you're awesome for asking me!
He said he appreciated me having helped him out with a few things. I said Jerry, I was glad I helped in any way I could.
Red Lobster was quite crowded around 12-12:30 pm this afternoon, had to stand for a short while, but not too long. They do get quite a lot of business that comes through there and the location anyway is less than a mile off the interstate.
Anyway, the food was excellent and the sweet tea was filling. The overall experience was just a relaxing soothing enjoyable experience for me, but I can't speak for my neighbor Jerry, though. And I truly liked the day.
The iced tea may have been too sweet, and we all have different preferences in the things we like,
but, borderline diabetes drinks right there. Haha, 😄 Nah, just having some fun.
The server we had was adorable in the way she presented herself, starting the experience enjoyable and more comfortable. So, kudos to our waitress, in customer relations.
The only thing I didn't get, was any pictures of my experience there, so, I'm sorry that I didn't. But, I've been preoccupied with some thoughts, we all do, just part of life.
I ordered a nine-piece, I believe it was, butterfly, coconut batter shrimp, w/baked potato and a salad, sweet tea.
Jerry, my neighbor, ordered Alaskan King-Crab legs, (market value price,) but a bit pricey, ”truly understandable to the reason why, right now, with the inflation cost ever so high,” and a baked potato, and I'm not sure what his other side dish was and a sweet tea.
From a company's point of view, with the pandemic still waving, uncertainties of the economies across the US, and the inflation cost still rising, it still is a good amount of profits being made.
There were biscuits on the table and I didn't even see her bring them. They were quite delicious too.
So, the company that invited me to lunch, the meal, the atmosphere, and the occasion, were worth their weight in gold.
And mostly thank you too, Jerry, my neighbor, I had a great blessed afternoon and a Father's Day.
God Bless your heart. And those, reading this review, God Bless you, too!
